I am looking to put together a couple of projects. Build a couple SP SD40M-2's.
I would like to ask. Where are they now? What is their disposition. Are they still in use on the UP, stored or sold off to leasing companies or scrapped?
SP #8691-8696 (ex EL SDP45's rebuilt by MK)
SP #8574-8582 & 8700 (SD45's rebuilt with GP40 radiators)

 Brian, its really hard to believe those M-K rebuilds are going on 20 already !! thought that 1 or 2 of the EL SDP45s ended up back east recently. will check recent Diamonds to see if that is so. Spikre

They have sold off some of them; I have a number board from a CSX SD45 that somehow "fell off" when it was enroute to Mountaintop PA as a derelect and I looked up where that unit was now to find it was on the New England Central, still in UP paint.
