I'm by far not a pro installer but I keep getting better..
Kato (old style) sd40-2
Soo line added detail weathered
Esu loksound select direct
Speakers 20mm high bass in cab and a 16x35 on weight facing down in the rear at 4 ohms
Lighting 1.5mm fiber strand optic warm whites with a tab of clear orange on the leds (0603)
And detail west with a 603 shoved in the lense broke 5 before I got it so maybe 403's next time??
Video might not of high standard but my little operator does pretty good now the camera guy is a different story lol !

You're right. The videography sucks, but the subject matter is great. Subtle weathering to show why Soo probably shouldn't have painted their engines white. Every little spot of dirt, oil, and rust shows up like a sore thumb. I have three SD40s that I am going to have to do something with the beacons, which cv did you have to set for the flash?
Were those all "factory" loaded sounds? All mine have a very short startup sequence.

Cv 112 got played with alot to time the flash plus I added a little more hold time and I dimmed the brightness not to overwhelm the dotation effect..if you used esu loksound The file is Matt's newest 645e3 file which has the longer cold start unlike tsunami or esu's factory 645 that were used in kato's... Sorry video sucked maybe someday ill get a better camera..lol Yes the white/red scheme gets dirty and quick although I like the more solid red schem the red/white always appealed to me.. |
