It's too bad about the US FP9A cancellation. I know they're of limited demand, but I don't think the dealer network was helping things much. I ended up having to order direct, since all of the dealers I checked either didn't list the one I was looking for or were asking for MSRP at a 1:1 exchange rate between US dollars and Canadian.
If you do end up doing an RS-18 model, I hope you also tool up the RS-18u, since I need 3 of them to fill out my MNNR Alco fleet.

"High-vis clothing must be worn only in situations in which one is required to leave one's house. (Health & Safety Executive S.I. 2014/666)"
LOL:D
If you decide to import HO figures, maybe a run of Nikon-festooned foamers* being eyed suspiciously by extraordinarily well-fed TSA gendarmes?

When I saw the American FP9A announcement I said who is going to buy these? I simply couldn't see demand for Pan Am etc.
Add in the need to pre order which many simply won't do.
I love your pax cars and you make great stuff. But many of your models are of niche prototypes. That is great. But demand is probably just not there for some of the things for small railroads perhaps long gone.
I say if you want to sell containers of engines, make an SD40-2 I say. Yes there are others. But none as nice as your F unit or that awesome looking Via unit.
Those I will actually follow up with $

So what's that lump sitting next to the F40PH-2D sample? Is that a hint for an upcoming model?

I'd love to have gotten a set of the Pan Am units, and I know many others that would do, but I can't afford to preorder anything. Also throw in the fact that they are also being done by intermountain for less would cut the numbers ordered.

I thought about that, but it doesn't have the recess for the windshield and the area under it. I suppose it could still be a very rough version, but if that's a 3d print it seems odd to not have the recess after they made that movie of scanning the prototype.

It was basically four blobs on some other blobs, on an accurate rendition of the tilting and close-coupling system. It seems to work..... -Jason

I can’t believe no one is commenting about the jaw-dropping amount of detail on the F40PH-2D. That’s a show stopper in my book. Dang! If/when the American version hits the market; I can see a lot of Kato and Walthers versions hitting the old eBay auction highway. Thanks, Mark
