I need to order a set of Cannon anti-climbers for a project i am starting soon. I can't figure out which of the two sets are needed for this former SD40-2 Also what C channel styrene is used for the underside to simulate the I beam frame so I can create traction motor cables. Pic will be attached, photo is not mine. DSCN7639 by Tripps Pics79, on Flickr

Steve,
I believe you want Cannon 2103, for Dash 2 with notched pilots.

Prototype frame rail is roughly a 12" tall I-beam, so for ease of assembly, I use 1/8" C channel from Evergreen (1/8" is roughly 12" in HO).

That anticlimber sure looks like a homebuilt job, not an EMD factory part.

I agree, that looks like NS’s homebrewed anticlimber that’s been used on various rebuilds (like Admiral cab SD40-2s), and not an EMD component. More shots here: www.nsdash9.com/rosters/6210.htmlAnd per the roster, the core unit 6213 was built from was originally a Pennsy SD40.
