Might be old news for some but I did see the run of U18Bs is unfortunately now cancelled.
On a positive note I did see a FB post showing the pre-production GP16s and they look quite nice. I can ask to use the photos here if anyone wants to see them.

However, they did ADD a few things. There are now Maxi IV 53' well car sets on the website. I haven't seen these models re-run in many years. This batch also has containers included like some of the most recent Athearn well cars. I'd much rather have well cars than U18Bs, so I can't complain. I think those models will sell better anyways.
I need about a million JB Hunt 53' Duraplate containers, so hopefully these models end up getting produced and not cancelled in a year. These are probably the best well cars Intermountain has. Some of the old A-Line kit toolings (I'm looking at you Thrall well) are pretty bad, but I think the Intermountain well is better than the Kato, even if the wells aren't diecast. I'd rather have etched metal walkways.

I was definitely looking forward to getting a few more U18Bs, I’ve only got one of the Guilford painted ones and was hoping to get two more, without having to repaint the two Maine Central ones I’ve got.

Crap! I preordered a pair of Seaboard. It will probably be a long time before IM will try another run.

I picked up a beat U18B at a show last year and flipped it for decent money. Undec painted with the handrails a mess.

I noticed that some of the roads for the Trinity 5161 hopper are finally in production.

The Milwaukee Road rib side boxcars finally came out last October. They arrived 6 and a half years after they were announced. I'm still wondering if we'll ever see the ACF 2927 cu ft covered hoppers that are still at the top of the Hoppers page: www.intermountain-railway.com/ho/hohoppers.htmlThese were first announced in October 2016, so that's 7 years and 3 months ago now. Of course the record is still held by the GP16, supposedly finally in production: www.intermountain-railway.com/ho/loco/holocgp16.htmAnnounced September 2015; that's 8 years and 4 months ago now.

The SD40T-2's have to be up there too. We have a winner! Those were announced in April 2015, so have been vaporware for 8 years and 9 months...
