We have a slew of things to announce today, our first announcements since taking the store live! You asked for it, were making ditch lights! While many other companies are now making them, GR&M was the first to offer standalone Pyle style ditch lights through our Shapeways store years ago. Having the stand alone ditch lights allows you to mount them directly to the pilot or build your own bracket. Our ditch lights are 100% scale ( I double checked this twice after printing them to make sure!), and we are offering two kinds to start. Both of these products are cored, with a mount inside for a 0402 LED (Pico size if you like Evans Designs). Installation is easy, glue your LED to the part (You must use thin magnet wire) and install. Depending on how well your LED is assembled, you may need to counter bore the pilot slightly to fit the LED and have the part sit flush. #3022 – “Pyle” style light. This is the most common type of ditch light, and uses the basic Pyle rounded bulb mount (same as their headlight) on a thin base. gothamrailmarine.com/product/pyle-ditch-light/#3023 – “Universal” style light. A lesser common type, more of a thinner profile, with external screw mounts. A lot of rebuilders used this style of light. gothamrailmarine.com/product/universal-ditch-light/This is just the start of several ditch lights and styles. Any chance for EMD style deck mounted ditch lights? Bob

On the top of the ditch lights, how about CP style ones with the visor below the light? Both the style with the lifting points and without.

I like the tall Geep mu stands ... MEC had them with a d/b socket above the mu socket. I could use several sets of those. Checked photos and the MEC Geep spark arrestors are similar to the C&O style but the frame is thicker and they seem to sit right on the stack, no legs on each side.

I have been sharing photos of detail parts I have been working on in SPF for some time. I am happy to say, my webstore is finally alive and ready for orders! gothamrailmarine.com/Lots to come next year. I have numerous parts are already in the works. If I learned one thing this year, its that there is still a huge demand out there for detail parts, and I hope to help fill that void. Quite a number of the things I have available so far, have never been offered in HO before. Great stuff and website.
