If Athearn can do that little switcher and expect to sell lots of them, a CF7 should be a no-brainer given they went everywhere when Santa Fe was done with them.

Buy an undecorated or a road you don't care about, swap shells and have extra parts. It's a thought, as I could then sell the combined leftovers as a DC locomotive. But I'll note that Athearn DID sell Genesis F unit drives. Ed Yes but that was a long time ago when the Genesis line started. I doubt they'll do that for every locomotive they make. |
