I'm gonna get the entire BN roster. It's only two units. And the SDP40. And the NW5. And the NW3.
Yes to all of those.

Decals for "Rail America" which I think they mean to say is Rail Car America which is the ex-Brandon RR locomotive, which is one road I'm surprised they're not doing.

Email them. I did on the spelling for Alsom (Alson on their site). Decals for "Rail America" which I think they mean to say is Rail Car America which is the ex-Brandon RR locomotive, which is one road I'm surprised they're not doing.

Maybe the C430? But we got them again! Once upon a time Lee stated they will no longer do undec engines. I can not think of the last time they even did one.

There's hope for locomotives made in small numbers to be made in plastic. We've done pretty well in that respect. Off the top of my head: EMD GP15T (28 - 25 Chessie / C&O and 3 Apalachicola Northern) - Athearn Genesis That may be a slight cheat since it shares a chassis with the more numerous GP15-1 (310), but it requires Athearn to tool a separate long hood, rather than just sticking dynamic brakes on a GP15-1 like Walthers did. Back in the old days Irv Athearn made the DD40 with zero prototype units produced.

Why is this being advertised as English's as opposed to Bowser? Is this higher end, or entry level?

Why is this being advertised as English's as opposed to Bowser? Is this higher end, or entry level? Given it's $30 more than the most recent RS-3, maybe higher level?

$30 more is probably just keeping up the the inflation we're told is in the rear-view mirror (lol). The Bowser RS-3s are very well-done models, almost nothing to improve. If the C-415s are the same quality I'll be happy. Betting I won't be disappointed.
Still, the use of the name "English's" is interesting.

Why is this being advertised as English's as opposed to Bowser? Is this higher end, or entry level? Rooting through Bowser's website it appears that there is some rebranding going on. "English's Model Railroad" appears on many items that aren't "Executive Line."

English's was the storefront in Montoursville PA that they also brand for their 3D printed line. The store just closed so I suppose they feel free to use that branding more.

I seem to recall the "English's" name being used in reference to the SD30C-ECOs when they were in development, but the models still arrived in regular Bowser boxes.
I don't expect that to change, personally.

I was at Lombard hobbies yesterday and they have a few Bowser RS3's on display and they look great.
Can't wait for RI RS3's and the C415.

Having never prordered, does the manufacturer let you know that they received your preorder? I preordered one of the C415s using the email provided with the announcement but haven't heard back

I wonder what trucks come with the undec units? Standard or Hi-Ad? Or both? From the order page: "Undec will include handrails and other small parts plus both types of truck side frames and all the fuel tanks. Most parts will be in bags. Customers will have to paint and assemble." Greg

Guess my post and question on 18 February was not relevant. Point was that I have never pre-ordered and wondered if I would receive acknowledgement from Bowser. Maybe it wasn't an intelligent question.
