Without going too far from the topic, for those who have a large interest in Auto-train, the RF&P Historical Society offers the following: "The Society is pleased to release Society member Doug Riddell's Amtrak Auto Train book. This hardback volume covers the planning, formation, and ultimate success of Amtrak’s continuation of the original auto-train concept. This book contains almost 200 pages of text and 200 pictures. Please note that due to the book's size and weight, domestic shipping is $10.00 per each book ordered." www.rfandp.org/publications.html

Nothing on youtube and google images only has stock photos. Thanks for the reminder. I went to the walthers site to see what was up. Apparently I didn't successfully click something since it isn't in my orders, wish list, or backorders. Now, six months later, I'm cool on the building. I love the sign, but the actual building is larger than I want for an off track scene. Whacking an inch off looks easy. But whacking two inches off like I did with the Taco Bell looks to be much more of a project than I want. And I think losing three inches of length and one inch of depth would be about right. I'll put it in the pile of flash-in-the-pan models. I've lots of those in my head!

It's a classic building style we don't see anymore but I know HO structures take up a lot of space & don't blame you for taking a pass.
