Hi all,
can anybody recommend a suitable Toledo, Peoria and Western "olive" paint for HO models ?
Note: I am in Germany, so shipping restrictions ARE relevant
thanks Bernd

Tamiya Acrylic Paint XF-62 Olive Drab looks closer and I guess should be at the military modeler shops in Germany. Tamiya is no problem...thanks for the idea. If necessary, I can mix it a bit to match..but to what source? I am a bit confused by the fact that the olive on the TP&W models I own (Atlas C42x and Walthers/P2K GP7) is quite different and the Branchline boxcars in TPW (repainted in the late 60ies) are more of dark green and not really a match to either of the locomotives. The "yellow" is even worse...

The TP&W Hist. Soc. recommends Coach Green first and then Pullman Green.
Floquil Coach green is Tamiya #71 Cockpit Green Floquil Pullman Green is MM 4784, Vallejo VMA 71.019, or ModelFliex 16-180, or Humbrol HU 86 Matt Light Olive

Two different dark greens are seen on TP&W caboose 519. I think you want the darker green on the bottom, if not even darker(?). The loco green looks to be a very dark gray-green, not "Pullman" green or the very dark PRR DGLE/Brunswick green or GN Empire Builder brownish-green. Did any other railroads use the TP&W color? I was thinking the Reading's original dark green but it looks to yellow-ish.
Some more color photos: (I dig that mid-century modern HQ building)

Thanks for all ideas...looks to me like the TP&W did some "mix and match" on their own.
So I guess I can follow this approach, too

Thanks for all ideas...looks to me like the TP&W did some "mix and match" on their own. So I guess I can follow this approach, too I think that is a safe bet, I know their later scheme varied quite a bit depending on who painted them and when, so I’m sure the same could be said for the olive scheme!
