I always be messing with my son when he is sleeping and it is time to get up. He actually fell asleep in he middle of his OWN O scale Marx train set in the living room floor. He is sleeping in these two pictures, but I was trying to wake him up and since he was not waking up I decided to put the track over his arms and snap a few pictures, Here you go!:

Big Al, Maybe you should do a clock for your train room or for him for his room. Use this pic and Photoshop until you get it where it'll work, the do some hands for the clock by Photoshopping your son's arms for the hands of the clock? Cute pics.

OK, I've lost touch with reality and started building more benchwork with the blessing of the Finance Ministry. Fortunately, most of what you see is recycled or leftover from other projects. I've had to buy a few pieces of 1x2 and 1x3 the last couple of days. I'll obviously need more investment before this project, the Cascade Branch, is finished. The rest of the layout is based on actual RR lines in and around Silverton, but the Cascade Branch is a fictional branch off the Silverton line that follows Cascade Creek. The stations along it are tentatively called Purgatory, Potato Hill, and Crater Lake from names of features in that area south of the ski lodge between it and the RR and River. Just a few teasers here so as not to hog all the WPF space, I'll add more pics in my Before and After thread here: atlasrescueforum.proboards.com/thread/1226/layouts-before-after-threadHere you can see the "tunnel" through the wall from the main layout room. Here's a pic of the area around what will be the Potato Hill wye. The first train headed by K-27 #456 enters the newly constructed part of the Cascade Branch. Meanwhile, I gotta get back to opening boxes of RTR stuff

I've been doing a bit of work on Crocodile GE (MNNR 59). There are several features which differentiate the Aussie-built C36-7s from the US versions, the most obvious of which is the front air intake. Now that I've got that built up, and the long hood filled in, it's really starting to resemble the prototype even though there's still plenty of work left.
