I've been working on several freight cars to get them close to completion. Six total cars of varying degrees of detail, though two of the car types are duplicate kits built to different, or repainted prototypes. Accurail USRA gondola - Georgia K17 rebuilt with top chord will become Georgia 20418, white lettering on boxcar red car body Accurail USRA gondola - Georgia K17 with wire loading anchors Georgia 20409, white lettering on boxcar red car body Atlas USRA Rebuild - C&WC 8221, O-14-B (lacking decals), Special Oxide red with Jerry Glow decals Funaro USRA 4D-XM-1, constructed from F&C kit, undecided Georgia number since these were largely rebuilt by my modeling period Wrighttrak Seaboard Air Line G-10, stock kits, but mine were absent of all of the grabs and photo-etch, so I am adding after market parts from my parts bin . I have two kits one of which will become SAL 91009, a former MD&S gondola constructed by Magor and re-lettered in 1960s era Roman stencil font, and the second will become SCL 890250, a black and white G-10 repainted at Waycross in 1969. If the images fail to load, you can access the album here linkI remember seeing those Georgia gondolas hauling huge granite blocks(more like boulders as there was no formed shape) out of the Martin-Marietta quarry in Cedar Rock, GA near Camak, GA. I wish I had photographed those loads back in the '70s when they were very common. The higher side gondolas also carried smaller(garbanzo bean size) gravel too. Nice to see other Georia/West Point fans on here. Jay

Sorry. I'm a little late to the party. Getting everything ready for the St. Louis RPM. Got nothing really new but here's a car I never did show. Started as an undec Athearn airslide. Decals were made by Dan Kohlberg. home.mindspring.com/~paducah/photo by Timothy N. Alund, on Flickr Nice! Very nice. I had some for breakfast this very day. Maple and brown sugar. Larry

I finished up a couple La Salle and Bureau County Baldwins last week. Number 8 has a Loksound decoder with their new Baldwin file and it sounds really gooD.... Mark. Hey, where are all the "stolen" PC box cars?
