Rob, your back drops look really good. It blends very well from the fore-ground into background - your eyes follow into it as if it is 3 dimensional. A real pleasure to look at. Thanks! Il concur with that, it looks awesome. Im envious, wish I had that talent.

I think this is my first thread here, happy Sunday! This is a rebuilt Walthers 4427 low side, new roofwalk, IMR PS end ladders, some wire and an HK decal set A Walthers car from long ago ( like the '90s)! And a page from a Mainline Modeller article I wrote about it. And an RYM X-79 Mark, I still have that and every issue that had a tank car related article. I sure do miss MLM, throne room time is just not the same! Regards, Bobby

Thank you Bobby,
I have to say your work is really something special, it's very inspirational to me, I'm sincerely interested in what your using for reference materials to create those great models you build. All I ever had was a GATX manual that a buddy gave me, and of course there weren't very many good models or even parts back then. In any case thank you for sharing your work here, great stuff! Best Regards,
Mark

Best Regards, Mark Thank you Mark. I had copies of original DuPont plans for the three DUPX cars. The Bromine plans were in MR as was the five ladder Cryo car. I had some fine photos that I scaled three of the cars. The two HPCX brass cars were photographed and measured by me, one at the local plant, the other at the CSX yard. It pays to have friends! The railwhale site has been updated, and has measurements for most of the whales. I look forward to seeing many more of your fine models. Regards, Bobby
