Nice stuff Mike! Happy Sunday! An Intermountain 4750, painted with SMP Accu-Paint and lettered with Microscale and HK decals. This last one is a bit of a pouser, an Details West RBL standing in for a D&RGW PC&F car.......This model predates Microscale's set for Grande freight cars, best I could do at the time!

IMRC 50' Boxcar kit, substituted a 10' YSD from the scrapbox and A-Line sill steps for the kit supplied items. Painted with Scalecoat II IC Orange and lettered with Herald King Decals. Atlas Post 71 4650CF Covered Hopper Car, painted with Scalecoat II MofW Gray and lettered with Microscale decals. Thanks for looking! Ric J

Solid work so far! Here is a pair of Atlas Western Maryland boxcars I did last weekend. I bought these 5 or 6 years ago, with the idea that I'd have a solid-Western Maryland freight circa 1971 to run with my Chessie stuff. That idea has since fallen to the wayside, and now I'm updating my WM equipment to look as if it were running in 1981. That means a few details like cut levers, air hoses (until I ran out of them), decal data from various decal sets, weathering, and the installation of Sergent couplers. Here is a WM class B-26 boxcar. Here is a B-37 class boxcar: On this car, I hand-painted over the lettering to simulate lettering that has flaked-off. Looking forward to seeing more goodies from people

Thanks Ric,
It's a Walthers car and load, I really like that ICG box, but then, you're posting up some real cool stuff every week, I liked those Alcos and the G39 jennies from last week too.

Been working on the track work through Lewistown Junction. Most of the main line trackage is now in from east of the station to the location of the west bound home signal at LEWIS interlocking. The curve between the station and interlocking has proper super elevation. The inner two tracks are also properly elevated above the outer two tracks. Here is a shot looking east bound from just west of the station. The red brick building in the background was the Railway Express Agency building/hotel. The grey building beyond it, I believe, was some sort of boarding house. Read more: atlasrescueforum.proboards.com/thread/1893/pennsylvania-railroad-middle-division-ho

Great Northern "Iron Ore" F7 A-B-A set in the classic "Empire Builder" scheme. They are Stewart/Kato shells I painted and detailed. Great Northern "Iron Ore" F7 A-B-A set in the Big Sky Blue scheme. They are Highliners shells I painted and detailed. Don't know which GN paint scheme was more time consuming to mask EB or Sky Blue. Can't and Never Will OLS GP15-1. Its a Genesis model that began life as an undecorated CNW version. Now you can easily tell this is not a factory painted Athearn model. Can anyone see the clue?

I'm going to guess it's the smiley face on the gong/bell.
Those Big Sky Blue F's are really nice!

But then I freely admit to not knowing a lot about the C&NW. I'm at work today, I know exactly where my issue of Diesel Era is that has a CNW GP-15 article

Dang! That issue of DE is right where I left it - in the bathroom. If you'd given me a couple hours to get home from work I'd have gotten it. lol!

T-bird. I have 8 of the Intermountain CF4750 hoppers in factory paint which aside from the weathering, look about the same. As I recall, the early kit version of the IntMnt car was a darker orange, which was too dark IMO. Then PWRS came out with their RTR version, also too dark but I bought a few. Then IntMnt came out with the lighter shade of orange in RTR and I got eight and sold the PWRS darker orange. Now I just need to learn to weather like you! I'll have to practice on some older cars first. A layout is looming too so that will require my time and attention.
