Good evening to all the forum folks.
Low 90's again and no rain today, which is good. I am taking tomorrow off so I can mow the yard in the morning. Work Friday then be off the weekend. Yaaayyyyy!!!! My new guy's wife had her twins this afternoon, so he'll be out for a few days, at least. Didn't get to the trains last night, but may try to get out for a little while this evening. Have to get the son at 11:00. Putting him on the weed whacker tomorrow. I see we had another good turnout today. Wish I could get here earlier, but things just aren't working out that way, yet.
Terry, I hope you feel better.........

Not exactly sure what to make of it, Larry. While it sounds interesting, I seriously doubt it will have long term sustainability or acceptance. As it may be "modified" coal, I can't help but be reminded of an old fast food commercial talking about chicken nuggets, I believe, and the phrase ..."parts is parts" comes to mind, as in, coal is coal, even if it's refined coal. But what do I know, I'm a lifelong cop, not a scientist or engineering grad. ;D ' It does sound like a money raising type of project of a grant. Rebuilding an 84" drivered Hudson for 125 mph train service seems to be a little out of the normal for this era! The fuel is the interesting part of the project. If it works, who knows what might come of the research project. It is a project at this point and many projects that are announced never get off the ground. Larry
