Hello everyone as you can see by my avater I love BIG BOYS I model union pacific late 50s Cheyenne , god I wish I had researched how much room those locos take lol
but my son also is a life long railfan , he doesn't model those old steamers ha ha ha he models modern stuff
I'm from NH but currently living in fla ,soon to move to tennesse

Welcome to the Atlas Rescue Forums!
Yes, the big UP steam engines are impressive and popular - but of course big too so need some real estate ideally to stretch their "legs".
I was a teen in the 1970's so I"m mainly a diesel guy (SP & D&RGW) but had to have me a big steamer too - it's a Intermountain Cab Forward.

Jim I was a teen back then too , I lived in Colorado springs back when I was in the army & loved it got to see santa fe & rio grande in action but I was to busy with girls & booze to pay attention lol but I go back every so often , when 4014 come's on line I will be there in may 2019 |

Hey, that would have been cool to see. Sadly I didn't get to see any real Colorado railroading in the 1970's. I was in Colorado visiting relatives or passing through but didn't see much - if only I had a time machine. Is 4014 the ATSF steam engine?
My interest modeling wise is to model the D&RGW in the late 1970's in west of Grand Junction CO>
