Good post on how you had to do things, James. Feel free to share other interesting tales from yur years on the rails. Bill, Welcome to the Forum. We're hoping you might want to become a more active poster than you say you were on the Atlas Forum. You're correct about Walthers' car problem. Talk about the "Law of unintended consequences!!"

Bill, Welcome to the Forum. We're hoping you might want to become a more active poster than you say you were on the Atlas Forum. You're correct about Walthers' car problem. Talk about the "Law of unintended consequences!!" Thanks. I think they might have forgotten that certain metals conduct electricity. Well, I posted a lot for a while over there until a certain few people seemed to ruin it. Then I just started working on my layout and using the Railroad Line Forums. You can see photos of my layout by clicking on the link under my signature. It's come a long way since I posted photos over there. I have had op session for 3 years now on it. Stop by and take a look. Bill

I've seen some of your work over there, Bill, but I'll have to take the time to go through much more of it. I believe you won't have near as much to deal with here as what spoiled it for you and others on the old Atlas Forum.

I appreciate your willingness to revive the forum. I thought it was a great way to share information, though for a company they always have to worry about flaming/branding and how they might be viewed.
Anyway, THANKS!
This is the easiest way to find others that have done what you are asking, or know someone who has.

I am hoping that Donnell has the ability to get rid of the spam, as well as the spammer(s). Maybe he hasn't seen it yet.

Hi Dale,
Glad you could join us! Lurking is welcome, but I would also like to encourage you to participate as well! There's a lot of good discussion going on here, and eventually I'd like to introduce new things that were not found on the Atlas forum.
Again, welcome!
Donnell

A bit late to the party, but I just ran across your forum this morning. I see my good friend, AntonioFP45, is here and that many forum posts date back to April, before Atlas stopped their company one. Well, I'm sure this will be an excellent offset to the demise of the original. Ron

Just signed up. I have been over on Trainboard and Railwire forums but they just don't satisfy like the Atlas forum did. Some of the same people are at one or both of them but apparently many decided not to choose a new forum....can't put my finger on what made the Atlas forum more vibrant than the others. Charlie Vlk
