Hi guys,
I've attempted twice to post an Alclad related thread showing the step by step process I use but for some reason, my PhotoBucket shots show up as "Image has been moved or deleted".
Some of you may have seen it earlier before I deleted the thread. I have not changed anything on my PhotoBucket account AFAIK.
When posting on forums, I normally click on the "Image Code" of my photos and they appear with no problem. The photos of my passenger cars at the Suncoast Model Railroad Club thread appear just fine.
Would appreciate some pointers. Am I doing something wrong?

That picture came from my photobucket account, so no problems for me.

Antonio One problem I have experienced with Photobucket is the length of the name of the file I uploaded. If the file name is too long, the picture will fail. Larry

Thanks for your help guys.
I have the "free" version. I'll pay attention to the bandwidth I use. I've read of modelers using the version that one pays for. Do any of you use this and if so, what do you see as the significant advantages?

Do any of you use this and if so, what do you see as the significant advantages? Antonio I use the free version and have about forty folders on there. I have noticed that as the folders get larger, the response time to organize or add pictures can slow down. I try to keep the folders to 100 to 150 files. Larry

Wow! Larry one of my folders as 240+ photos!
Question: Is there a way to transfer photos to new or currently existing Photobucket folders without disturbing their current links to forums, such as this one, and MRR?

Sorry to comeback with this, but I'm having the same issue again as I tried twice today to post a detailed Alclad topic here. Although I didn't see a message, I think it's possible that I may have exceeded my "band width" since I recently posted an Alclad topic on another forum with quite a number of photos. Looks like I either need to pay for a "Pro" account or look for another photo image site that allows linking to forums.

Looks like I either need to pay for a "Pro" account or look for another photo image site that allows linking to forums. I have the Photobucket pro account, aka I pay for unlimited space and no advertising, and have found that I can only get photos to appear on this forum from my base folder. If I create a sub folder, the photo will not post on this forum. To clarify......On Photobucket, you have a base folder. This is the folder created by Photobucket when you opened your account. If you create a new folder for "Atlas Rescue Forum" for instance and attempt to use that folder to host a photo on THIS forum, it will not work. Post the same photo in your "base" folder and you will find it will work on THIS forum. Right now my base folder is so frickin' large, because of this software problem between Pro Boards and Photobucket, trying to find photos on my account's base fold is like wallowing in quick sand.......you just sink.......
