Folks;
I have several Coach Yards fexible full width passenger car diaphrams that I will be using on project. I would like to paint them. Any body have any suggestions? These are very flexible and I worry about the paint that I normally use (Scale Coat) cracking and flaking off if I use it.

Are you trying to paint the rubber parts? If so, I think you're in trouble. I would think that paint wouldn't work at all. You'd need some kind of stain or ink, IMHO. Perhaps Sharpies? BTW, I laughed when I read the topic title. Who knew that diaphrams wore pants?

Duplicolor offers Vinyl and Fabric dyes in spray cans that are often found in Auto Parts stores. Silver is one of the colors.

upwpfan,
If it's a fabric material, Duplicolor will adhere to it. What color are you trying to match?
