PS 4000 hopper confusion

Looking at this series of CSXT ex SBD ex SCL Pullman Standard 4000 cu ft hoppers

These look nothing like the PS CD2 4000 hoppers produced by Tangent (and Exactrailk and BLMA in N)
Are they a later generation of hopper that just happens to have the same capacity?
