So what then, everyone should have bowed down and worshipped the feet of Paul Gruba or something? BLI blew it out there rears, they deserved to get roasted for making deliberate screw ups to the model. No sympathy for BLI.

carrman, See, this is a problem with the world today: everything is to the extreme. I recommended not ranting that they all be fired as incompetent, and your alternative is to bow and worship at the feet of BLI's owner. Did you know there is middle ground? You don't have to scream and yell and act the fool and you don't have to slobber all over a manufacturer, either. Tell them firmly (but fairly) what's wrong, explain why, and show evidence. Maybe they'll fix it, maybe not; but at least they'll listen. Spend some time at a manufacturer's booth at a train show and watch the difference in reaction to a calm, well-reasoned criticism from a customer vs. a ranting, unhinged argument. One will be heard, one will be placated. They'll paste on a smile, nod repeatedly, and roll their eyes the second the ranting lunatic walks away.
