I would like to propose an official forum name change. Now I know this is the Atlas Rescue Forum but given a majority of the content especially of late I would like to propose the name be changed to "Model Railroad Bitch Forum".
What do you think, pretty catchy?

I have seen and been part of plenty of conversations that point out innacuracies here. I also don't have a circle track around a tree, or accept mediocre junk when that was never what the manufacturer implied they were selling me.
Bitching is sometimes extreme, but I doubt you would agree with me on what constitutes that.

Complaining about complaining.
Next: Complaining about complaining about complaining.

Complaining about complaining. Next: Complaining about complaining about complaining. Ed I'm not complaining, I actually find it all amusing. I am just offering my serious opinion. Not complaining at all. Why complain in such a wonderful season of the year.

Hmmm. A "serious opinion" about an "amusing" topic.
I look forward to "funniest moments in complaining". I don't doubt there are some.

Trust me, this forum has more then enough nicknames in the field. It's currently bookmarked as the "Atlas Dumpster Fire Forum" on my computer.

If one only prefers shiny happy platitudes, there’s always Trainboard.... Funny, I noticed there was one member over there going by a random CSX engine number, CSX602, who had the same obsessed rage about Rapido and their B36 step error as some on this group, and who kept going on and on in multiple threads making the same exact arguments of false advertising and so forth over there that some had made on here (despite insisting he wasn't part of this forum, but saying he followed the discussion here closely, hmm). Then all of the sudden I guess the admins had enough and banned him, as all his posts on the threads there vanished and only his quoted replies in other's posts remained. Some even though he was ol' Curt Mc from Atlas forum fame under a different name...but it's all probably just one big convenient cooncidence. 🤔😆

He is at Trainorders under the same login. I’m not Curt, and in fact we often came to disagreement on the old Atlas forum. And I don’t miss his being here, quite frankly. The difference in writing style alone should clue you in on that. At this point, it’s absolutely comical how far off the mark you are. And since you keep harping about it, 3305 is not random at all to me, it was the first Atlas unit I bought after a hiatus, around the same time I signed up on the Atlas forum. It was also the last U Boat in revenue service on CSX. I also shot it on film several times.

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks". -Queen Gertrude One would think if there wasn't some truth in that, I doubt I'd get such a vitriolic and defensive post from you about it. Good work in proving your case for everybody. I'll just concede that you're right, and let you get back to looking for another Rapido thread or modeling forum to bring up the B36 stepwell issue again.

You really haven't been adding any value to recent threads, instead trying to accuse and lambaste 3305 and others for voicing their disappointment in finished products.
Maybe you think I'm Curt, now.

Oh you're right, I'm sorry for not constantly complaining ad nauseam about how bad it is when model manufacturers get tiny things wrong and adding pages of "value" by beating a dead horse over and over. Please accept my humble apologies, I'll try to be a more shining manufacturer-browbeating example for everyone in the future. The Honorable Judge is getting rusty, he forgot to make some obtuse reference to the Russians in his response. Oh cheer up, I'm sure you can figure out a way to shoehorn the B36 stepwell issue into the current RS11 thread somehow. Get trying, bucko!

If you don't know what you're looking at or don't care, then your opinion is useless. By complaining about complaining, you accomplished what, exactly? Go do something, stirring the pot on here has got to get boring after awhile.
