Some stuff on my bench............ Some easy upgrades on my two G-85s, still need to add ACI, COTS, cut bars, hoses and end grabs, these are pretty nice cars. Building a Gondola from bits of stuff........ I find this sort of thing to be quite a bit more rewarding than opening boxes. Happy weekend! Mark Hills

So I finally finished a couple of projects this week. First is a WLE hopper. Car is a Bowser 100 ton hopper painted with TruColor black and lettered with Highball Graphics decals Next up is Norfolk Southen 9254 a locomotive I photographed in my hometown. 9254 started life as a ScaleTrains Dash9. Stripped the model and painted with TruColor Black. Descaled with Microscale Decals. Great models from everyone so far! Ryan are those Utah Pacific stanchions on the B36-7? And where can I find those resin car kits??? Very nice cars.

Finished a couple of cars this week. Gulf Mobile and Ohio 50' PS1 Kadee Hydroframe kit substituting a Moloco 10' PS Door for the kit door, painted with Scalecoat II CNW Green Paint and lettered with Dan Kolhbergs ICG Decals. Car was in general service on the GM&O and later ICG. Exactrail 4427CF PS2 Covered Hopper Kit, painted with Scalecoat II Reefer White and lettered with Oddballs Decals which were made with the assistance of the SOO Line Historical Society for Accuracy, these were an early 80's repaint scheme from the original paint scheme. Used in general grain service on the SOO. Picture of my Rivarossi U25C's with a coal drag on the Strongsville Club Layout. Thanks for looking! Rick Jesionowski

Ryan are those Utah Pacific stanchions on the B36-7? They sure are. I used 0.0125" phosphor bronze wire and soldered them in place. Pretty much bulletproof as long as I don't drop it.

Who makes those gas pumps, they look awesome! Here are a couple more resin vehicle kits I recently finished. First up is this utilitarian 1976 Chevy Nova. Next up is this 1973 Pontiac Luxury LeMans. Love em or hate em, GM's Colonnade body styling was everywhere in the mid 70's.

Who makes those gas pumps, they look awesome! [/quote] Thanks. The base pumps came with the Walther's gas station kit. I detailed them with the pump nozzles, hose, and microscale decals. The nozzles are actually freight car air hoses.

As per usual nothing completed from me. However I do continue to slowly chip away at NYC 2378, a GP35.

One of my not-so-LHS was closing, so i picked up some stuff at about 50% off: They had a few genesis SP GP38-2s and a couple of the cabooses, might go back to grab them if they're still there. as for the DRGW SD45, kinda debating on sticking a tsunami in it and selling to a friend whose's starting out doing DRGW. Assembled this accurail car, have to see if i need to add those braces towards the top of it. more work done to this PC X72: I'm trying to save as much of the factory paint as possible, I'm probably just gone file/sand down the stiles a little bit and add the exactrail ladders to it.

One of my not-so-LHS was closing, so i picked up some stuff at about 50% off: You lucky dog! That's almost the same caboose I'm working on! The cupola I have makes it from the earlier group, but it's the same paint and almost the same style. By the way, that's a nice haul you got there. Sorry to hear they're closing, though.

It sucks they’re closing as they’re the only place around with paint, glue, and scratch building supplies. However a new place opened recently and is expanding, so maybe it won’t be soo bad. I saw that caboose you’re working on, I noticed the ladders are on the opposite side.
