I think the likely hood of a HO manufacturer producing these is high. I know I'd buy a few.

I'm not as sure about the SD70ACC, but I would say that an SD70ACu model is a near-certainty simply because these exist: Like you, I will likely get several once they become available.

It would seem likely this locomotive would be part of the Athearn Genesis SD80/90 line.
The CP locomotive I ordered is an excellent model and am looking forward to the NS and CSX SD 80 MAC.

Undoubtedly these are part of Athearn's plans for their SD80/90 models, the only real question is if they'll do these or the SD9043MACs first.

I agree, and I think the SD9043MACS will probably come first. It's ok, I'm patient. I never thought we would get the SD70ACU, even though I suggested it to Athearn. I've still got hope for the SD70ACC!

In theory Athearn could do the SD70ACC as well, they have a good chunk of the tooling already. But I agree that SD70ACUs will likely be first.
