I'd love to print Speno trains but I can't determine exactly how long the cars are. I know some of them were on 85' flats, but I'd like to do the older ones that were somewhere around 50'.

I am eager to see the new car and paint schemes...thinking about heading up after work on Friday to Chicago... I wish I was closer... I am sure the railroad has other plans for me rather than take a couple days off to go to Chicago and back. Maybe some of you who are more local can pose for a group photo with Blaine?

Just put in one of your float days. They'll approve it right away... Is the allocation down to two each day where you're at as well?

I don't even know what the car is, but I want to beat the crowd... And declare my wallet to be safe!

4-bay plastic pellet hopper? Either PS or ACF/Trinity design? Or those PROCCOR 4-bays? Not sure who built them. Might fit the 1980 and later AND the coast-to-coast criteria.

KRL 3600 (formerly WECX 800 and CEBX 800) was built in 1982, and I don't think it'd be much of a stretch to have that use 199 parts.

Just saying - Already out there. You just need to convert to S scale. Not gonna happen.

Hey, gotta give the 1/64 scale farm guys cred for offering pivots by Valley, T-L and Zimmatic. But they're nuts in their own way.

Prediction: It's a Bethgon/Coalporter with operating rotary couplers.

The Rolling Stones are going to debut their new song tomorrow also.
I guess someone had to play second fiddle to the Arrowhead announcement.

Prediction: It's a Bethgon/Coalporter with operating rotary couplers. Well...a 50 car train would be over $2000.00?

Prediction: It's a Bethgon/Coalporter with operating rotary couplers. Well...a 50 car train would be over $2000.00? There's a catch. It is indeed a 50-car train, but it is made from 199 parts. The reason that's an odd number is because the EOT is #199. All part of Arrowhead's new partnership with the folks at Value Trains.
