Did Walthers ever make their GP9 low nose in undecorated?
If not, then I will not continue to look for one and get me a decorated one and strip it.

Yes, they came out earlier this year. I preordered from Tony’s Trains last June and it shipped in early March.

Thanks for letting me know.
Probably going to be VERY hard to find. I'll keep looking though.

You know how this works, right?
Buy a decorated one and strip it and within a week of either having it ready to repaint, or having painted it, you will find an undec somewhere and probably for a bargain at that.

I picked one up at a store called Lombard Hobbies. I bought an IC one and will strip it. If that brings an undecorated one out of the woodwork. I'll get it too.

Lombard Hobbies are awesome, I wish they weren't so far but always worth a trip there.

Lombards often has models others are sold out of. I live in Virginia and it's too far away to visit but I order from them now and then. They have a flat $13.95 shipping which is a bit much for small orders, but for larger orders I can justify it.

I have 5 of them so far and they are super easy to convert to DCC, just slap in a 21 pin decoder and you are done.
