Just got a email stating the Amherst show at West Springfield this January has been cancelled Sad to hear. Was hoping it would happen. --- Ken

about 6:14 a.m. -- this should have been p.m. I started a new thread with this post, not having noticed the earlier message it's now posted under. Sorry -- to put it mildly, I've been doing too much "multitasking" on what was supposed to be a vacation day. Someone properly moved my post to follow it.
I got the news in an e-mail sent to me about 4 p.m. by a fellow member of the Bridge Line Historical Society, who wrote that I should see Facebook. I didn't see that until about half an hour ago. I'm not active on that so went instead to the Amherst Railway Society's website for its annual Big Railroad Hobby Show at the Big E (the Eastern States Exposition Grounds). The same news was posted there.
Many of us have been expecting this.

The 2021 show which was to have been 1/30 and 1/31 was officially cancelled earlier today. Every effort was made to make it happen but in the end health/logistics proved too tall a hurdle to overcome.
