It seems as if Walthers made changes to their Advanced Search page and dumped a lot of old data. I can't find older product information, even when I search on a know product number. Not just other manufacturers but their own product too. I swear this was working a few weeks ago. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong?
This was an EXCELLENT resource and it would be very unfortunate if this is gone.

I noticed the same thing a couple weeks ago. I was trying to find the listings for the original run of Walthers Proto Amtrak Amfleet cars, and no search variation that I could think of would bring them up, including telling it to display discontinued products. The only way I could find them was using Google to search for "walthers.com Walthers Proto Amfleet," the item number, or some combination like that. Google took me directly to the product page, which I couldn't find through the Walthers search. It's as if they wanted to purge obsolete listings or something. I don't think it helps that Walthers changes the names of their various product lines (Mainline, Trainline, Gold Line, Proto, etc.) every few years. They probably don't want the old product line names to show up and cause confusion with their current lines.

I think the search function on the Walthers site is to help you find product that Walthers can sell you.
What does it benefit Walthers to help you find information on products they don't sell anymore?
