Hello folks--
Based upon the prototype photos, the Santa Fe Kodachrome B36-7 lost its sound baffles shortly after repainting into the Kodachrome scheme.
Which version is being offered by Rapido? The version in the colored drawing (which appears to be without the sound baffles) or the version depicted in the photo which has the baffles?
(I personally prefer the version with sound baffles removed, which is also why I did not buy any previous versions.) |

The Rapido announcement indicates that the baffles will be included in a separate bag for installation by the customer, if desired.

Rapido News 139 email on June 11 stated under an image of the Kodachrome artwork, "Of course we didn't forget the baffles! They'll be in the polybag, in the box."

Great! I was one of several people I actually know who specifically did not buy the previous Santa Fe versions because we did not want the baffles to be installed at the factory.
