Why can’t the manufacturers here do better trees!? There are ones from overseas that are so much better. Realistic and look like they should, not the mass produced garbage here. Which are made in China anyways….should have more options available!

When the goldenrod blooms it's easy to pick, de-leaf, paint green, maybe dip in ground foam and make a whole forest of filler trees for very little money. I've picked a few other things for variety but I'm not sure what they're called.

Why can’t the manufacturers here do better trees!? Are you including Scenic Express? www.sceneryexpress.com/ Right now they are moving and not taking orders.

For the most part, protoypical trees are tough to make and/or expensive.
Some trees are harder to model than others. Large conifers keep me from modeling the Pacific NW. Palms, though common in southwest urban areas are seldom modeled well. Usually just a few foreground trees.
Massed canopy trees, like found in the Appalacians & in many Model Railroader articles, are easier and can cover large areas.
Lots of tutorials out there on the web, videos..
August RMC features a layout based on a suburban Philadelphia commuter line. Some of the best looking trees & other scenery I've seen.
Supertrees from Scenic Express are some of the best. The armature is a plant called sea foam or seafoam. I think there was an article in recently about growing it.
