Thanks Ed, yes i'm by far the first person that wants our products to get out quicker. The extra time to get things swuared away up front means less time dealing with isuues after the fact. For a one man company this the most efficient and best approach but you know that. Nick Hate to be that guy, but I wish Moloco would speed things up a bit. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the company and the models that they produce. The quality and attention to detail is second to none. But at this point with the pre-orders, I can't even remember what I ordered, let alone if I even want or need it now. A lot can happen in the 3-4 years it takes from announcement to final product in ones personal life. I can't be alone in these thoughts. At the end of the day, does this hurt a business in the long run.... I'm sure Nick would like Moloco to speed things up a bit, too. Perhaps more than anyone else. If you can't remember what you pre-ordered, just look through your records. That's how I can find the unfilled Intermountain order from 2007: 6 of 45334. Ed

Hope the EL caboose guy is a teenager! I mean I wound up with two manufacturers making BN cabooses? Maybe the EL guys will get that lucky some day? I looked at my Moloco order and kinda wish I would have gotten more than 1 BN car though. I wonder what the odds are of someone backing off some of them?

Nick usually includes some extras beyond the pre-orders. But judging by how much is remaining in stock on the Moloco website, I would guess the "extra" will be fewer than in the past so when they come in don't snooze. A few vendors sell Moloco too, such as Spring Creek and Lombards. modeltrainstuff not sure with the new owner. The old modeltrainstuff quit selling ScaleTrains and I think later on, Moloco.

Hope the EL caboose guy is a teenager! I mean I wound up with two manufacturers making BN cabooses? Maybe the EL guys will get that lucky some day? I heard a rumor that thanks to unprecedented demand here on the forum, Tangent, Scale Trains, Rapido, Athearn Genesis, Moloco, Kadee and Hornby are all making the EL bay window caboose.
How the DRGW and Southern cabooses got skipped again is a mystery.

I make to order with a couple extra for just in case we have some damaged cars through the shipping process. However Some orders are not picked for various reasons. I also do not deal with discounters like lombard. I deal with dealers that understand the longer sustainability of my product line and their excellent service. Otherwise my store is always open for business. Nick I mean I wound up with two manufacturers making BN cabooses? Maybe the EL guys will get that lucky some day? I didn't realize Lombard was no longer a vendor for Moloco. Spring Creek appears to still stock Moloco.

The NP/BN cars are in Long Beach, recovering from their ocean cruise. Once rested in their four star accommodations, they'll be heading east, taking in the sights.

Walt I probably should list them on my website. No particular order; SCMT, midwest models, mainline hobbies, white rose, the trsinshop, trainshopohio, just trains, railmastet, reeds in SD, AA Hobbies, Needz Trains, des plaines, engine shed in green bay, a few othets. You can slways encourage one of your local dealersto become a dealer. Nick Nick, besides Spring Creek, who are your dealers currently? ~ Walt
