There are two screws under the fuel tank. Correct and I forgot about them. Remove the fuel tank by removing the the two screws on the bottom of the tank. Then remove the two screws that hold the frame to the sill unit. The sill and the hood should then lift off. There is an exploded view of the chassis that is included with the locomotive. To make it simpler next time before replacing the sill/hood to the frame carefully glue the sill to hood (from the inside). When dry place the one piece sill/hood to frame and then attach using only the coupler screws. Those two screws hidden by the fuel tank are no longer required. |
