Hi DCC guru's,
I have an NCE Power Cab system, currently set up on a layout module test track.
I'm having a bit of trouble with getting some lighting set up on some models. I have installed some Tsunami 2 PNP style sound decoders into some Athearn loco's and am trying to get Mars lights to function. Now, according to Soundtraxx, their Hyperlight functions FX3 to FX8 equate to F24 to F29 respectively.
Now, according to all the help tutorials that I have seen I simply need to hold the Shift key down, and then press the 0 key twice, then pressing the required Function number key.
However, doing this does not seem to work. I hold down the shift key and simultaneously press 0 (either once or twice for F11-19, or F20-29 resp) and nothing happens. There are no changes to the display to indicate that either of the F range are selectable.
Can anyone shed some light on why these higher functions may not be selectable?
Thanks

If you have an older system, you need to update the firmware of the handset in order for it to work.

You can reprogram the option key to make it easier to access the upper functions. Follow the instructions on this YouTube video:
