I use a Buddy Board to mount my decoders on. I wire the ESU Power Pak to the Buddy Board. Can I use an ESU Power Pak with a Soundtraxx Blunami decoder?
The Soundtraxx rep at the St. Louis RPM did not know what the third wire was used for on the ESU Power Pak. What does the third wire on the ESU Power Pak do?

Brian,
My understanding is the third wire has to do with a logic output that tells the power pad when to discharge.

The third wire allows for the ability to program an ESu decoder, with the capacitor still connected. Only works with an ESu decoder.

Never really tried that, I don't know.

why not just use a Soundtraxx Current Keeper?
Then you don't need to worry about compatibility.
