As many members of this forum do, I host my photos on Flickr. With the exception of a few pictures of my dogs, every picture is of a either a model or prototype train. Over the part 24 hours I have received two text messages saying that they have seen my "dirty pictures" on Flickr, and they will make them public unless I contact them immediately. I discarded the messages and reported them as junk. I thought it was pretty funny because the "dirtiest" picture I have posted to Flickr is of a Durango & Silverton diesel blasting a bunch of black exhaust. I also may have posted pictures of some heavily weathered models that look filthy.
I am not sure that Flickr even has my cell phone information, so it may just be a random use of Flickr's name rather than Flickr actually getting hacked, but I thought I would mention it in case anyone else receives a similar text message.
I laughed about it, but it certainly is possible that someone gets scammed.

My wife used to get emails constantly, threatening to make her browsing history public if she didn't give them money. I think what stumbled upon you is a variation of the same theme.

I usually just get the messages from sexy women wanting to share their photos with me. Easy enough to delete...

Flickr got hacked when Yahoo bought them and that was what, a decade ago?
