Good Evening to all the Forum Folks. Holiday or no, had to go in this morning. Kept busy keeping an eye on traffic and the businesses that were closed for the holiday. Refereed a child custody dispute with my next door neighbor and one of her childrens' father. JOY!!, NOT!!! Anyhow, it's hot, humid and over the next couple of days, Beryl should give us a good bit of rain. As I'm done for the evening, I'm ready for a glass of wine, but we're well stocked. Hard cider, assorted beers, mixed drinks or something a little less potent. Come on in and relax a bit.

Happy Monday... We got home to find my neighbor's tree had decided to take up residence in my yard, on top of my garage. I'll be cutting it up so I can park my trailer in its spot, and so my wife can get her car out. After that, I could probably go for an adult beverage of some kind, but I'll know more after I'm done.

WOW!! Terry! I can only imagine the " surprise" when you discovered that little setback! Not the garage, but something similar happened to my train building last October. Hope your damage wasn't too bad. I'm having a glass or two of Pinot Noir, myself. Care to join me?

Mike, as bad as that looks, I guess that you're really counting your blessings that it wasn't worse.

So true, Douglas, so true. Fortunately, the only thing damaged was my Walther's, SW-1. It still runs fine but I can't locate a replacement set of handrails for the right front, which were broken when the light fixture hit it. The stack can be re-glued and I can hide the "cracks" with weathering, I think.
