Good Sunday Morning to all the Forum Folks. I have pots of regular and unleaded coffee brewed up. Eggs are stacked and await your order. The bacon, sausages and ham are frying up on the grill, while pans of oatmeal 'n grits simmer on the stove. Fresh baked cat head biscuts, bluberry muffins and breads for taosting are on the counter. Boxes of dounts and a bowl of fresh fruuit are there, too. You can have pancakes or waffles, if you'd like. Even a pan of white gravy for the biscuits. Milks, juices and canned drinks are in the cooler. Of course there a several bunches of bananas for Miss Dee. Load up, fill up and relax. Things have been busy at work and I haven't done anything with the trains or Forums since Tuesday. Spent most of yesterday with LD, driving to several "antique" places looking for a bench to put with the whiskey barrel. We're planning something with them for a decorative theme at the end of my train building. No bench was found, but did get a RR lantern with a red globe. Looks to be stamped on it's top with RDG Co. LOCO Div. Hope to get some decent pics of it today. Also plan on running a train or two. Getting close to 90F today. Hope that everyone has a good day.

I had a great church session today, and this afternoon I'm spending some time with the layout. I really needed this time away from the MRI trailer. I'm just loosely running trains around, as I'm not in the mood for anything organized.

I attend a nine AM service every Sunday and picked up a friend after Church for a run up the Hill to take pictures of a train of all things. We had great lighting and a Heritage 1988 unit on the lead of a stack train to Oakland. The first few pictures are from yesterday and include a lot of trees and a great looking train. James, some American railroad stations have raised platforms now, particularly on commuter lines. Some large stations (I'm thinking specifically of Penn Station in New York and Newark, NJ and Grand Central Terminal in New York) also have raised platforms.
But I am thinking the majority of stations did not and passengers used a step to board and detrain. I can't be sure about the stations along the CZ route.
