Good Evening to all the Forum Folks.
Still hectic with long hours at work. Trying to maintain some level of sanity, but with so many things going on in Town and still shorthanded, it gets on the 'ol nerves, some days. Not trying to wish my life away by any means, but I really believe I'll like retirement, even if I get a job at Lowe's, which is what I think I want to do when I'm done with policing...... I should have the new guy sworn in very soon. Took him to get fitted for his uniforms today. Then comes his training. I've not done anything with the trains since Saturday evening. Our temps have been in the low 90's with moderate humidites. Seems as if summer temps have arrived. Pouring a glass of wine now. Anyone care to join me with their favorite adult beverage.

Enjoy your drink there Mike. My wife got a virus a few days ago, and decided to share it with me, so I haven't done much of anything. Has anybody heard from Donnell lately? I hope he hasn't got this bug, it's nasty.

Good Evening to all the Forum folks. Still blisteringly hot & humid down our way. Pretty much like everyone else. Relief may be here by Monday. Still no rains in our area, but many areas north and west of us have been getting some afternoon showers & t-storms the past few days. Yesterday and today were only 9 hour days at work and tomorrow should be as well. No more errands to run this evening so it's time for a glass of wine. Hope that everyone had a good day.

Good luck to all those affected by the heat. I've been complaining because we can't seem to get out of the lower 50s. I guess that I should consider myself quite fortunate. Maybe if everybody down in the lower 48 aimed their windmill generator fans up my way, you could blow some of that heat up here.
I haven't had much time to get into the model room lately. My last son is going to be leaving and moving down to Monroe Iowa in a couple of weeks, so I'm spending some time with him.
