From Metcalf's "Union Pacific Freight Cars, 1936-1951":
F-50-15's were nominal 40' flats based on a GSC cast body. They were built in 1951. The series was/is 51000-51499. "380 of the original 500 cars were still in service in April, 1975."
I wouldn't be shocked to find that other railroads also had cars based on this GSC casting.
So, it appears we have here a 40' version of the just announced 50' flat cars. Not spectacular, but not a bad thing, either.
