Good Saturday Morning to all the Forum Folks.
Just now been able to get on-line. My provider has apparently had some sort of problem(s). A warmish morning with high humidities and a 60% chance of rain, today.
Brunch is on tap today, seeings how it's late morning. Coffee's are fresh brewed and plenty of iced tea, too. Assorted melon chunks, donuts, fresh fruits, macaroni salad and egg salad for this morning's brunch. Eggs & bacon are also available.
The milks, juices and canned drinks are in the cooler. Stop in and relax for a bit.
I plan on getting out back for a while and run a couple trains for a bit, before all the days responsibilites kick in this afternoon.
Hope that everyone has a good day.

It's cool and raining here today. I've got some work to do today, but I plan on spending some time in the model room.

It's cool and raining here today. I've got some work to do today, but I plan on spending some time in the model room. Sounds like a nice break with rain. We could use some rain in Northern California but that will not happen until late October or November or even later in a normal year for us. We are going to experience a 99 plus day but it has been cool at night so the house is cool. I am still working with the latest Genesis SD70Ace to try and set up the motor control to better the slow speed running. The SD70Ace models are out of my era at least 60 years plus but they look very nice and I take pictures of the prototypes fairly often so the Genesis models just show up at my door step now and then. The lastest models with the Soundtraxx installed are impressive to hear and mine have the extended sound speakers installed to capture the low frequency sounds. I hope everyone is having a good Saturday rain or shine. Larry

I have heard of him, but I don't think he ever got the recognition he deserved. His use of a telecaster for blues always intrigued me, as blues doesn't lend itself well to the Telecaster, but that just shows how good he really was. When I'm straight on blues, I much prefer one of my hollow body electrics, although I do also use a Stratocaster on some songs.

They're Epiphones. One is an Elitistb1965 Casino, and the other is a Sheraton II, which, even though, it's a much cheaper unit, I like it better, especially when sliding.
