Looking forward to seeing pictures of your layout, construction projects, purchases and builds. Please post them as examples for all of us to enjoy. And if they were ever "purchased", I'm sure we'd never see you post a photo of them either. I guess we'd just have to use our "imagination". When a quality SD40-2 comes out I will have no problem paying for them. An even dozen should suffice Not sure if will get sound, it depends on who makes them.

If you want to see a photo of something that I purchased, just go back to the thread about Athearn RTR SD50s with warped frames. Let's see something from you now. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your layout, construction projects, purchases and builds. Please post them as examples for all of us to enjoy.

Well, it's not the bicentennial unit, but you have to love some EL SD-45 action. It's not only the bicentennial SDP-45 that's out, the re-release of the RTR SD-45 in EL is also out. I'm not an avid EL modeler, so unless something really cool comes out in the future (such as a re-do of the Atlas U33C with better paint) this will probably be it for EL power for me. I really like the contrast of the straight SD-45 with the SDP-45s. Despite what I said about not being an EL modeler, this may well be my favorite single locomotive consist. Obviously this pig train is detouring over the Penn Central (still need to work out exactly why the EL would be on PC tracks, but I'll come up with something better than a detour).
