I hope that's not a bad sign.

No, it's just their monthly sale. If you don't receive their notifications, they offer a model or two for a deeper discount each month.
I'd love to buy a couple more of those beautiful Greenville gons but just can't justify any more!

Exactrail doesn't like stock that hangs around.

The last few sales they have had-Beer cars, waffle boxes, and gondolas have been "in stock" forever... So long that I have bought them in stores several years ago. I am more concerned about re-runs, which don't seem to be in their plan.

Yeah, I wonder about reruns too. There are a lot of roadnames that they could offer on existing models that have only been run once or twice. The ABOX, Berwick 7550 box car, Evans 5277 box car, etc, I'm afraid that their direct sales system is moving their products too slowly, and they aren't selling them fast enough to support new runs. I hate to come out and say that, but they have a lot of great models that should have sold out at this point. They probably would have if they were available through dealer networks and online retailers.

I have about a dozen Exactrail cars that I have purchased, all but two were "impulse" buys at a shop.. "Hey, I need one of those".... Vs Direct, where I waited until almost all were sold out.

I get the email notifications sent regularly which is nice to be made aware of specials that may interest me. The beer cars were of interest, for example, and I had been intending on beefing up my fleet and this was a good opportunity to do that so I ordered four. I like ExactRails products very much. The only thing that holds me back now is the new 100 dollar free shipping limit. I was much more likely to order when it was at 50, but being on a tight budget I tend to hold back more now and wait longer periods between ordering.
