That's a shaded 3D drawing, not a photo.

Very much a rendering.. With some parts likely photoshopped in..

To add to the list, I photographed this Rail Trusts Equipment SW1200RS as it passed through Nashville in 2014. RTEX 8153The Canadian SW1200RS's aren't common per-say "South of the Border", but there are examples scattered here and there. James Bilbrey LaVergne, TN

That is a very unusual looking "picture". Something about it does not seem legit. As others wrote it seems to be some sort of computer compilation of CAD, parts, pictures, etc. A photo shopped outcome. Overall though, if the *actual* model looks as good, it will be impressive.

NOW I'm paying attention! Thanks!! Ed Does anyone know when we TLT will release a photo of the model? Will it look like a Rapido, a Bachmann, or something in-between? Can't tell without a photo.

No one really knows when TLT will release an actual photo. Probably not before tooling is done and first samples are made. Best case, it'll be a few months, I would guess. Generally, though, their models are rather well detailed. I own a couple of their bulkhead flats, a few CN Pte. St. Charles cabeese, and an MBTA MP36PH-3C. All are well detailed and run well. The MBTA loco is very well detailed and runs nicely. Did require a slight loosening of a screw holding one of the trucks (it was a bit tight), but once that was done - it's been a solid runner and it pulls well. The SW1200RS is taking a while, but I have no doubts that it will be a nice model when it comes out.

Because, as several posters have stated, it's not a "picture". There is no physical model to take a picture of. It's just a drawing.

I too am very happy with the appearance and operational quality of my True Line Trains MP36PH-3C, New Mexico Rail Runner Express units. Out of my era and geographical interest, but lived in The Land of Enchantment a couple years and just had to have them for fun.
