Here's the local paper giving Fort Worth's take on this story:

The pace of new locomotive deliveries from the Fort Worth plant seems to have slowed* but there's been a lot of rebuild/repair traffic to and from the plant recently, from CP AC4400CWs to BNSF B40-8Ws to NS D940-Cs. According to the article, the pace may pick up again.

* I don't have any data, just based on what I see in the garden at Alliance Yard.

2.6 billion into a plant with even cheaper labor- I'd bet in the long term they'll be importing locomotives to the US...
