I hope the New Haven EP-5 gets enough reservations to be made. Rapido has turned me into a New Haven fan.

That was one of my favorite Lionel locomotives as a kid. (I still have my Lionel EP-5 sitting in a display case in my office.) I model western railroads, but I was so impressed with this model that I ordered one. I am really looking forward to it. Perhaps Jason can give us an update on the status of the EP-5 project.

I would guess that Jason is probably traveling at this point to get to the UK for the Warley Show this weekend so he may not be able to answer immediately.
[edit]
Just took a look at the Rapido webpage for the EP-5 which indicates that it in tooling (the top picture that says "3D render, model now in tooling") with an order deadline of Feb 11 2019 and delivery estimated Summer 2019.

I am in a tiny hotel room at Heathrow. We expect to have proper samples of the EP-5 with bodged-together pantographs at Springfield. We haven't tooled the pantographs yet.

I hope the New Haven EP-5 gets enough reservations to be made. Rapido has turned me into a New Haven fan. Jeff C I nearly became one by accident, bid on an NH EF2 on eBay by accident*. 5 days of waiting before someone finally outbid me! Started wondering about modelling an NH electric line....
* I actually want a B&M Hoosac Tunnel electric, which are similar to the NH EF1

+1 for Horizon/Shoreliner/Comet (and all their different configurations).
Fingers crossed for another run of NH McGinnis & Penn Central Osgood Bradley Cars.
Double fingers crossed for the Rohr Turboliner.
Double fingers & toes crossed for the Washboards.

Fingers crossed for another run of NH McGinnis & Penn Central Osgood Bradley Cars. Yes. They are ever so slightly rare on Ebay. Ed

I'll go one better....Jason, please consider doing another run of the Super Continental Line, and the Budd coaches all with upgraded track powered lighting. These cars still go for top dollar when you can find them. Erie Lackawanna Delaware & Hudson Nickel Plate Central NJ Penn Central Northern Pacific Metro North Amtrak Phase 3 VIA Seaboard Atlantic Coast Line
I'm sure there are some other much needed roads I missed. I don't know what's going on with Walthers with their Proto line passenger cars as of late, but Rapido seems to be the only manufacturer willing to consider doing coaches & sleepers outside of C&O, PRR, ATSF & UP.
And if Rapido is considering of doing Horizon/Comet cars, depending on the roads and if they don't cost over $100 a car, I would consider purchasing at least 20 or more cars.

I think its been said in the past, either in the newsletters or on Facebook or on here, that the problem is the tooling would need to be redone for those so it's not just a simple case of rerunning the models. And if Rapido is considering of doing Horizon/Comet cars, depending on the roads and if they don't cost over $100 a car, I would consider purchasing at least 20 or more cars. I suspect that the $100 or more passenger car, at least for the level of detail and quality that Rapido offers is a reality that people who want them will need to budget for. And speaking of budgeting, people may also want to consider setting aside money in case what they want appears as a surprise announcement. One of the recent Rapido newsletters indicated that factory would be doing small production runs of existing products to fill gaps in the schedule so it is possible that what you want may suddenly be available on a until sold out basis. I am guessing the N Osgood Bradley coaches are an example of this new policy, where newsletter 106 announced them as being available immediately in limited numbers.

I think I also read a while back that the tooling for those cars were either destroyed or past their useful life. But I'll keep my fingers crossed. The original run of those Rapido passenger cars are still highly sought after. I know I would have grabbed more Super Continental EL cars in duplicate road numbers if I had an idea that they would be so rare to find.

I know Jason's said before that the plan was to re-issue all the Budd cars from the Canadian. They've made it about halfway through so far. (Park dome, mid train dome, coaches, Manor, and Chateau) which only leaves the baggage dorm and diner to complete the set. They still plan on doing them, just on a longer timeline, since tooling needs to be redone.
I'd be in for some modernish Amtrak cars (Horizon, etc) or some nicely detailed Colorado Railcar in Alaska RR compatible liveries.
