Good to see the M420 though it looks like the first run is not the variation that the Minnesota Commercial has. I assume that's because the Kaslo kit I bought is still in my to-build pile.

Hoping that once they come out the BC Rail body, they do the undecs with that option, as well as a large fuel tank like on the CN units.

The class lights being blanked from the standard 3-set they were built with to just single reds on those AMT 13xx's would mean another body tooling variation, where the "SLC" AMT units could be done with just standard GO shell tooling (Incidentally, those three units SLC leased to AMT went on to become TRE units 120-122). Maybe if sales are good and there's enough demand, Rapido might consider tooling up shells for the AMT 13xx and NC Dot versions. But demand for commuter rail models is often very localized and minimal, unless you have a well-known and longtime operator like a GO Transit, who basically pioneered the F59. The AMT (or "EXO") F59's are still new kids on the block.

That's some serious sound reinforcement on that loco. “Horn redundancy” I guess supposedly one horn is supposed to cancel out the other?. And I’m not sure what brookville did externally other than the marker lights to change their exterior appearance post rebuild. look near close

I've been told that the double horns in AMT service is due to a rule requirement requiring testing. Before starting a new run, one is supposed to test the air horn to make sure it works. However, this can be annoying to the nearby neighbors. So to prevent blowing the horn for testing, a redundant horn is installed in case the primary is faulty.

Canadian rule for all passenger locomotives, standard horn along with a back up horn. Freight units are not required to have 2 horns.
