Hey guys,
My son accidentally left a DC locomotive on the tracks when he switched his basement floor empire to DCC, then tried to run some of his DCC locomotives and none would respond when he dial up the addresses. When I got home, I noticed the DC loco on the tracks, removed it, and now the three locos he tried to run have no motor control. The horns, bell and lights work, and the prime mover idles, but there is no response to throttle input, nor does the prime mover notch up. Other locos he didn't try to run operate normally. The DCC system is an NCE Power Cab and the decoders are a mix of Tsu 1 and Tsu 2. Any ideas before I do a decoder reset?
Thanks.

You can try setting cv 19 to 0. The analog engine may have scrambled the consist address, and they won't respond until the phantom consist is cleared. You may have to go in and un-mu them, rather than setting the cv.

You can try setting cv 19 to 0. The analog engine may have scrambled the consist address, and they won't respond until the phantom consist is cleared. You may have to go in and un-mu them, rather than setting the cv. If the horns, bells and lights work, the correct address is obviously being accessed. If anything, it would be the DC engine that would be damaged, not the DCC ones. Try a factory reset on one of the DCC engines and see if it comes back. Mark.

Resetting CV 19 to zero fixed the issue on all three. Thanks guys.
