Dec. 5 , at 8:29 p.m., EST
Thanks for the head's up! Hadn't checked for this in the last few days. Impressive list so far -- hope all can actually make it to the show. Several notable exhibitors and vendors that have been there many times before the pandemic aren't yet on this list.

This show is lightyears ahead of Milwaukee Trainfest. Especially after Kalmbach bought Trainfest and turned it into greedfest. What a dissapointment this year! But they have to do something to save their hides from their inevitable collapse.

It's a great show. I went 3 times when I was within striking distance. But I'm too far away now and stuck taking care of a 91-year-old mother with dementia so can't take a long trip like that.

It's too bad AA Hobbies doesn't go anymore, I did a lot of business with them at the show over the years.

It's too bad AA Hobbies doesn't go anymore, I did a lot of business with them at the show over the years. I wonder why. Their show store was always packed with people buying . I liked their box end marking made it much easier to find what I was looking for . I'll be there helping the Loadman in the Better Living Center. Have not missed a year since 1995 other than the Covid times --- Ken

I still have some models I bought from AA hobbies 25 years ago when I visited the shop when in the area for work. I remember the box markings.

I read somewhere that MA requires you have insurance for everyone working for you even at a show like this. Makes it expensive to have enough help to effectively cover a large booth. Can't say for certain as I've never attempted to do this show, if I could even get in let alone to learn what the requirements are.
Trainfest, somehow I got on their email list and they kept sending me messages to sign up early for the discounted booth price. Then the deadline passed and they extended it, right up just about to the show date, which tells me they did not sell out of space.

Their website has a very comprehensive list of the requirements and necessary forms. Is there a breakdown by day? Saturday was light early, packed as hell most of the day, people still walking in at 1:30 when we left. I looked at bits of video from Sunday and much less crowded. They did spread things out a bit so it wasn't as tight as pre-pandemic years.

It was entirely packed in there. Probably build up from the storm last year and covid before that. What a boring round of announcements though. I bought a few old items I was missing at some retailers though.

The gate for the show was 18,369 and the total population was 21,869. What accounts for the difference? I assume "gate" is paying visitors. So does "total population" then include manufacturer reps, people who have rented tables, and the like? Thanks!

That's correct. They count the exhibitors in the total population. The gate for the show was 18,369 and the total population was 21,869. What accounts for the difference? I assume "gate" is paying visitors. So does "total population" then include manufacturer reps, people who have rented tables, and the like? Thanks!
