Hi again. Do I assume correctly that any YouTube videos we come upon are random throughout the posts/threads; that there is no dedicated category for them that I am simply not noticing/locating ? Is it merely that to watch, say, a "NYC Hudson" or "bay window cabooses" I/we then must leave TARF and open YouTube itself ? Thanks again

People may insert links to YouTube or other video sites. Or photo sites.
This site doesn't store or catagorize them.
It's a model RRing discussion site focused on rolling stock & locomotives, not dedicated to any specific sub-subject but nods toward Prototype Modeling.

10-4 Baikal. Just wanted to be sure. The videos are randomly entered within a thread. There is no 'Memeber Videos'category..Thanks.

clubcar You can use the Search function (third menu item from top left) and then search for the word "youtube". You will get quite a few text-only responses, and some repeats due to quotes, but also many different links to actual YouTube videos.

Define "random"...
No, the videos don't actually exist ON the forum site.
People post links to YouTube videos, photos on other sites, other web resources, etc. in a thread for any number of specific reasons related to the discussion at hand.
