Looks like nothing heavy crossed on that draw-bridge piece, a small engine with a bunch of shopping carts on flanged wheels.

The idea can be scaled up: Note the similar limited clearance under this example. Note also that it can't take advantage of the multiple support points mid-span, as the smaller one does. Ed

The lift rails at the ends of that bascule span are probably bigger than the sugar cane train crossing bridge.
There used to be a manual version of this crossing bridge concept to access the California State Railroad Museum across the UP mainline, later replaced with an OWLS diamond.
